About the Campaign

The Education Starts Early campaign is a campaign of the Cabell-Wayne Early Childhood Council that is being funded by a federal Early Learning Opportunities Grant. It’s focus is on the importance of the early years of life in developing a child’s future potential and how we can best harness that potential to benefit our community. We have the potential to develop tomorrow’s community leaders, workforce and volunteers by investing in early childhood today. By giving our young children the quality care and experiences they need and deserve, they will grow up to share their potential as future members of our community. The campaign message is that to improve the future of our area, we must work together and start early.

To deliver this message, the campaign features prominent area community members who have volunteered their time as spokespersons for the campaign. The spokespersons and area children are featured on billboards, radio and television spots, and newspaper and magazine ads along with this website. They will also be involved in area events and are available for media interviews.
